NextYou Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NextYou app and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Account

• You must comply with applicable laws when using the Service.
• You may access account features through Sign in with Apple.
• You are responsible for activity under your account on your device.

2. Subscription and Billing

• Some features are available only with a paid subscription.
• Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account.
• Billing, renewals, cancellation, refunds, and price changes are handled under Apple's App Store terms and policies.
• If a subscription is canceled, paid features remain available until the current billing period ends, unless stated otherwise by Apple.

3. License and Acceptable Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, copy, or modify the Service except as permitted by law.
• Use the Service to violate law or infringe others' rights.
• Attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Service.

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of content you create in the app (for example journal entries, media, challenge data, and notes).
• You grant us a limited right to process that content only as needed to operate requested features (including AI generation, syncing, and backup where enabled).
• You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.

5. AI Features

• AI-generated outputs are automatically produced and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation.
• You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them.
• AI features are informational and productivity-oriented only.

6. No Medical, Fitness, or Professional Advice

The Service provides habit, productivity, and wellness support tools only. It does not provide medical, mental health, nutrition, legal, or other professional advice. Always seek qualified professional guidance for those matters.

7. Availability and Changes

• We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
• We may release updates, bug fixes, or new terms as the Service evolves.
• We are not liable for interruptions caused by platform providers, network issues, or events outside our reasonable control.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except where prohibited by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NextYou is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdictions that lawfully apply to you and to NextYou. Any dispute will be resolved in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective on the posted effective date. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
